Online seminar about legaltech area

KG Legal participated in an online seminar organised by a specialist in software engineering for business information systems from Munich who operates within the program LEXALYZE (interdisciplinary research program). The seminar involved the recent solutions in legal tech area.

KOREA EXPO 2017, Warsaw

On June 29-30, 2017 at the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw there was held international trade show where about 70 Korean companies presented cutting edge technologies and innovative products.

The fair was a great opportunity to develop new contacts and establish business partnerships. The trade show was organised by KOTRA Warsaw, which is Korean Business Center that promotes Polish-Korean economic cooperation and trade and foreign investments. KOTRA Warsaw is also preparing reports and marketing research for the Korean companies to enable them to enter the market and find new partners in the Polish business environment.

KG Legal has established contacts and pursued networking during the trade show, with the view of cross border investments in Poland and transfer of knowledge.

CORPORATE CLIENT DESK – cross border enforcement of payment order

KG Legal provides legal assistance to a Swedish client trying to enforce the payment from the Polish debtor — Polish company, based on a Swedish judgement. The dispute concerns the application of the Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council on jurisdiction and the recognition and enforcement of judgements in civil and commercial matters. The crucial legal issues related with the case involve the need to obtain the certificate on the enforceability of the foreign judgment, the scope of enforcement and the possibility of enforcing the legal costs incurred in Sweden in obtaining the judgment against the Polish debtor.

BioLawEurope annual general meeting has finished

On 19th May 2017 KG Legal participated in the BioLawEurope annual general meeting in Paris and was represented by its associate Kamil Trzaskoś, whose specialisations focus on IT and Patent law. During the meeting numbers of specialists from all around the world have been debating about development directions, admission of new members and possibilities of further cooperation.
