The workshop devoted to the new Polish system of electronic invoicing took place on 27 January 2022, it was organized by the Business Trends Academy, a joint project of Soneta LLC, software developer ENOVA 365, Microsoft and Intel.
Aboutthe Polish National e-Invoice System (KSeF)
The Polish National e-Invoice System (KSeF) is operated by the Polish Head of the National Fiscal Administration, who is the administrator of all data in the National e-Invoice System.
Functionality of the Polish National e-Invoice System:
granting, modifying and withdrawing permissions and notification of possession or withdrawal of permissions
verification of permissions at login attempt
issuing, accessing, receiving, storing and assigning identification numbers to structured invoices
verification of the compliance of the sent invoice with the template (scheme).
notification of temporary non-functioning of the system and of attempted login by an unauthorised person.
Who can use the Polish National e-Invoice System:
Taxpayer
Entities designated by the taxpayer (e.g. an accounting office)
Enforcement bodies, bailiffs
Natural persons designated by the above-mentioned entities.
Important note: The Polish National e-Invoice System does not exclude foreign contractors, so they can also receive structured invoices, although they may wish to receive it in the traditional way.

The previous energy market model in Poland was based on a monopoly of five different electricity suppliers.
Since 2007, the energy market in Poland has been liberalised and both companies and individuals are free to change their energy supplier. However, elements of a monopoly remain, as energy production and transmission is still the responsibility of these companies. Energy trading, on the other hand, is completely free. All elements of this market are licensed and supervised by the Polish Energy Regulatory Office. At present, the energy sector is being restructured and put in order, especially as regards competition. In the near future, the situation related to the stable position on the energy producer market may change drastically due to the new energy policy and the gradual abandonment of energy production from fossil fuels. This may lead to the liberalisation of the energy production and transmission market and an increase in the number of energy traders.

The President of the Polish Office for the Protection of Competition and Consumers issued two decisions concerning agreements limiting competition between truck dealers.
The two decisions issued relate to collusion by DAF car dealers. In the first case, the President of the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (Polish: UOKiK) found that five companies: DBK of Olsztyn, ESA Trucks Polska of Komorniki (Wielkopolskie Voivodeship), TB Truck & Trailer Serwis of Wolica (Mazowieckie Voivodeship), Van Tilburg-Bastianen Groep of Breda, the Netherlands, and WTC of Długołęka (Dolnośląskie Voivodeship) had entered into an agreement restricting competition. Entrepreneurs have divided the market among themselves. Together they agreed that each would sell DAF trucks in a specific area and not compete for customers in other parts of Poland. They also exchanged pricing information. In the case of four companies (excluding ESA Trucks Poland), the arrangements also concerned the exchange of information on bids submitted in tenders.
