On May 7, 2021, lawyers of the Polish law firm KIEŁTYKA GŁADKOWSKI KG LEGAL will take part in a webinar organized by a befriended Portuguese law firm Caiado Guerreiro on workers global mobility, which is a reality and a necessity for both professionals and companies. KIEŁTYKA GŁADKOWSKI’s participation in this professional webinar dedicated to the cross-border needs of foreign entities, is associated with the future needs and support of clients operating in Portugal, and – in particular in the field of tax optimization – in jurisdictions historically associated with Portugal, including Brazil, Luanda (Angola) and Maputo (Mozambique).

Caiado Guerreiro is a Portuguese law firm operating in many jurisdictions, providing legal services in all areas of law, which is recognized for the quality of the services provided. The law firm has extensive experience in providing legal services and legal advice at the national and international level in the field of corporations and mergers and acquisitions, dispute resolution, tax law and others.

During this webinar, topics related to the formalities concerning the employment of foreign workers by Portuguese companies and related aspects will be discussed. The conference will be attended by the presenter, attorney António Pedro Rodrigues and attorney Zuzanna Maria Sadlowska – Master of Law, specializing in international law and international relations.

The growing need to mobilize resources between different countries is associated with a number of procedures, sometimes relating to immigration law. Foreign workers are required to have appropriate visas and work permits in Portugal in accordance with immigration regulations. Work permits must be secured for workers and sponsored by a locally licensed and registered entity, which can be a problem for companies just entering the Portuguese market.
