As part of the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of International Law’s highly successful conference at Mansion House in London, we had the opportunity to take part not only in the substantive programme of the conference, but also in a number of exceptional events accompanying it.
At the heart of the conference were panels addressing some of the most advanced and rapidly developing areas of international law, including artificial intelligence and the law, international finance, M&A transactions, and other key issues shaping the future of the global legal profession.

What makes events organised by the ABA particularly unique, however, is the opportunity to engage with leading practitioners and distinguished legal experts in settings that go far beyond the traditional conference room.
One of the highlights was an exclusive visit to the United Kingdom Parliament, organised by the ABA Section of International Law. Thanks to the kind assistance and hospitality of distinguished British lawyers and experts in the rule of law, we had the privilege of visiting both the House of Lords and the House of Commons and learning more about the history and functioning of the British parliamentary system.
The visit to the House of Commons began in Westminster Hall — one of the most remarkable historic buildings in London, dating back to the 11th century and forming one of the oldest surviving parts of the Palace of Westminster.
For us, this was a truly exceptional experience: an opportunity to combine the substantive exchange of knowledge on the future of international law with direct exposure to one of the world’s most important constitutional and parliamentary institutions.
We are proud to have participated in this outstanding ABA Section of International Law conference and grateful for the opportunity to meet so many distinguished lawyers and legal professionals from the United Kingdom, London, and around the world.
